As part of Firstbank's commitment to our communities, we often have guests come through and learn about the bank and the importance of saving money. Earlier this spring, we had just such a visit from the local Tiger Scout troop who enjoyed a tour of our Firstbank Lakeview office. They were able to learn all about the internal working of the bank and had some fun along the way! Our very own Sue Brockschmidt gave the boys of tour of the bank and some Fortune Freddy goodies to take home and remember their visit. Thanks for stopping by to see us and come back again soon!

Firstbank is proud to take part in National Teach Children to Save Day every year! Last week, staff members from many of our local branches were in eight different school districts and talked to approximately 661 students about the importance of budgeting and saving. We feel that by reaching out to children, we can help them become financially responsible and money-wise at an early age. Our goal is to develop financial awareness and create positive attitudes about money management.
