Firstbank's very own camel, Firstbank Fiona, won two separate awards at the Merrill Farm Fest. Decorated by our Merrill Assistant Branch Manager, Julie Goss, Fiona won the Best Dressed award!
In addition to being the best dressed, Fiona was chosen as the overall champion in the camel races. In order to win the came race, Fiona was the most bet on camel and raised the most money out of all of the camels. Way to go, Fiona!

Firstbank-Cadillac was a sponsor of “The American Veterans Traveling Tribute” which included an 80% replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall. The Wall passed the downtown office on Wednesday, August 3rd escorted by an estimated 400-600 motorcycles on the way to the Cadillac City Park. There were displays in honor of those who have given their lives in the defense of freedom from all major conflicts, as well as a tribute to those who died on 9/11.

On July 20th, 2011 Firstbank and Eagle Village teamed up to help distribute food to low income families. Local volunteers help distribute healthy food twice a month. The theme for the day was “Have a peach of a day”. The Eagle Village students and staff gave out peaches to every person in attendance and made posters on the importance of having fruit in your diet to stay healthy. Firstbank sponsored all the T-shirts for Eagle Village and Firstbank employees were also volunteers.
Thanks to Godfrey Chevrolet for sponsoring the truck of food, as well as the YMCA for putting on the challenge!
