At Firstbank, we are proud of our many employees who are dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve. Pictured to the left is Dawn Larrison, of the Fairview Branch, with Brea Larrison, as Dawn teaches first graders during Junior Achievement.
Junior Achievement is a volunteer-based organization which empowers young people to be successful in the economy. The volunteers teach entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and encourage children to dream big to reach their full potential.
Firstbank is very committed to teaching students about financial literacy. Thank you, Dawn, for your dedication to Junior Achievement and your community!
Entries were collected during the "My Bank Loves Me" promotion for a new iPad 2. On April 9, Firstbank-West Branch held a drawing to decide their lucky winner. Congratulations, Sherry Abbe, on your new iPad!

This year, our West Branch locations will again be participating in a Community Food Drive. The drive begins on Monday, October 24th, and runs through Friday, November 11th. All food collected is distributed to food pantries in the local communities that our bank serves.
Last year, the offices of Firstbank - West Branch raised 1,821 lbs. of food! The majority of the food went to the Ogemaw County Food Pantry. Various churches also received contributions.
We are pleased to accept any food or cash donations at our West Branch locations again this year.
We welcome Tina MacQuarrie as new branch manager of our M-76 office!
Firstbank–West Branch is pleased to announce that Rozzanne Perryman and Chris Tecmire have been promoted to Assistant Vice President. Rozzanne is located at the Main Office in West Branch and serves as a mortgage and consumer loan officer. Chris is located at the Hansen House in West Branch and will continue in the commercial loan department as officer and credit analyst. Stop by to visit Rozzanne and Chris, and congratulate them on their recent promotions.
West Branch is planning to hold another Shred Day this fall.

Itinerary:
We will leave West Branch K-Mart parking lot at 9:30am making our first stop at Great Lakes Crossing for shopping and lunch (on your own) at approximately 11:30am. We leave Great Lakes Crossing at 1:15pm, arriving at the Fox Theater at 2:30pm for the 3:00pm show. After the show, we will leave for the Old Country Buffet in Flint for dinner at approximately 5:30pm. After dinner, we will head back to West Branch arriving approximately 8:30pm.
