St. Johns Employees Run for Health

Firstbank held its first annual 5k run/walk on Saturday, June 23rd in Alma. The event was sponsored by Firstbank’s Wellness Program and was d
esigned as a fundraiser for the Relay for Life. Employees and their families were invited to participate and become active while also raising money for a charity close to the heart of Firstbank and their staff members. Employees from our St. Johns and DeWitt branches had the highest participation. Way to go!

Veterans Memorial Donation in St. Johns

The employees at our offices located in St. Johns and DeWitt had a Jean Day on Friday, May 25th! Each employee donated money to wear jeans that day and in observance of Memorial Day, all the money was donated to the Clinton County Veterans Memorial Association.

Autumn Redman promoted to Vice President at Firstbank-Alma

James E. Wheeler, II, President and Chief Executive Officer of Firstbank-Alma, announced that Autumn Redman was promoted to Vice President at a recent meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank. Wheeler commented, “Autumn’s extensive knowledge of the banking industry and her background in lending and deposit operations has been instrumental in the growth of our St. Johns/DeWitt markets”.
Redman studied finance at Michigan State University and has been in the banking industry for 20 years. She began her career with Firstbank in 2000 as an Assistant Manager in St. Johns’ Downtown office. Autumn is very active in the DeWitt Community and currently serves as a board member for the DeWitt Area Chamber of Commerce.

Food Drive in St. Johns

Firstbank - St. Johns will again be participating in a food drive to benefit local organizations. Last year, the St. Johns and DeWitt branches collected 88 lbs. of food along with donated cash.
The contributions went to the St. Johns Capital Area Community Service and the St. Judes Food Pantry.
Firstbank - St. Johns is proud to take donations again this year, beginning on Monday, October 24th, and ending Friday, November 11th. Stop by the St. Johns or DeWitt locations to help donate to a great cause!
